Why does this recipe work so well? Because it combines a smoky depth with the juiciness of chicken in a glaze that caramelizes on the outside while keeping the inside incredibly tender. It is simply impossible to resist.

Ingredients

Serves 4 - Prep time: 20 min

  • 1.3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt, pepper and olive oil to taste

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce and minced garlic until you have a smooth marinade.

Step 2: Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then coat it in the marinade for at least 10 minutes.

Step 3: Heat a skillet with olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Step 4: Pour the remaining marinade over the chicken and let it caramelize for 2 more minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Chef Tip: Marinate the chicken overnight in the fridge for an even deeper, richer flavor. It also tastes amazing the next day cold over a salad!
